Spicy Calabrian Arrabbiata Sauce or about 4 cups tomato sauce of your choice
grated parmesan cheese and torn basil leaves for garnishing
Heat oven to 425F. Make the Spicy Calabrian Arrabbiata Sauce and keep warm. If you are using a store bought sauce instead, bring sauce up to a simmer and keep warm.
In Paul’s Meatballs recipe, after you have finished forming the meatballs, place them in a 9x13-in Pyrex or metal baking dish. Bake the meatballs for 15 minutes and then remove dish from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350F. Pour 4 cups of warm sauce over the meatballs and cover dish with aluminum foil. Return dish to oven and bake 20-25 minutes more. Remove dish from oven and sprinkle parmesan and torn basil over the meatballs.
