EASY TO REHYDRATE: If you need to rehydrate these dried sweet pepper flakes just soak one-part dried pepper flakes in two-parts cold water for about an hour and then drain the excess liquid and add to your dish. These dried pepper flakes are much easier to store and will keep for longer than fresh or frozen bell peppers.
CONVENIENT TO USE: These dried pepper flakes have a great, fresh taste and are much easier to use than whole red bell peppers. If a recipe calls for fresh bell peppers, just substitute dried pepper flakes for fresh peppers by using about 1 Tbs. of dried sweet pepper flakes for approximately 3 Tbs. of fresh, chopped bell peppers.
