Some of the best salmon that I have cooked at home has come out of the air fryer. The high circulating heat of the air fryer caramelizes the surface and skin perfectly while the interior stays moist. We have also included instructions for cookin...

Ingredients

  •  4 6- to 8-oz skin-on salmon fillets, about 1 to 1 ½ in thick

  • 4 tsp olive oil, divided

  • 4 tsp Firecracker Seasoning, divided

Directions

  1.  Preheat air fryer to 400F. Rub each piece of salmon with 1 tsp olive oil and 1 tsp Firecracker seasoning. Place salmon in air fryer, skin side up, making sure there is room around the pieces for air to circulate. Cook salmon 7-12 minutes, or until cooked to your level of doneness. We personally like pulling out the salmon when it reaches an internal temperature of 130F which is medium. Transfer cooked salmon to a plate and let rest 5 minutes before serving.

  2. To cook salmon in oven: heat oven to 400F. Season salmon as directed above and place them skin-side down on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Place in oven and bake 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
