Baked Pears

Great as a dessert or serve as a side dish with pork

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients except the butter.  Let pear marinate in mixture for a few minutes.  In a medium skillet over medium hight heat, melt butter and place the pears in skillet face down.  Cook for 2-3 minutes.  Remove pears from skillet and place on a baking sheet.  Finish pears in oven for 5 minutes or until soft.  Pour the remaining marinade into the hot pan and reduce for 1 minute or until sauce bubbles up and thickens slightly.  Pour the marinade over the pears and sprinkle some French Fleur de Sel 'Flower of the Sea' Salt.  Enjoy!

-  ½ teaspoon Vietnamese "Saigon" Cinnamon

French Fleur de Sel 'Flower of the Sea' Salt, for garnish
