7054 Caribbean Jerk Baby Back Ribs with Jerk Seasoning

7054 Caribbean Jerk Baby Back Ribs with Jerk Seasoning

Serves 4-6

2 slabs of baby back ribs (about 3 lbs.)

½ cup Caribbean Jerk seasoning (7054)

Vegetable oil for wire rack

  1. If the thin white membrane is still on the back of the ribs, remove it by grabbing the end of it with a paper towel and peel it away from the ribs.  Sprinkle seasoning on all surfaces of the ribs and let sit in refrigerator for at least 4 hours but overnight is ideal.
  2. Heat oven to 300F.  Place wire cooling rack on baking sheet and rub surface of rack with vegetable oil.  Lay baby back ribs meat side up on racks and bake 2-2.5 hours or until browned and tender.  Let sit until cool enough to handle, and slice into individual ribs.  Serve hot.
