5223 Madras Style Spicy, Sweet, & Salty Gourmet Nuts

Preheat oven to 250°. In a small bowl, combine sugar, Madras Style Curry Powder, Ground Cumin, Garlic Powder, Viking Oak Smoked Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Red Cardamom, and Vietnamese "Saigon" Cinnamon. In a large bowl, whisk egg whites until frothy. Add the almonds, cashews, and walnuts and gently combine until the nuts are evenly coated. Add the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Spray a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Arrange the nuts onto the baking tray as evenly as possible. Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool, break apart into desired serving size.

- 2 egg whites

- 2 cups almonds

- 2 cups cashew nuts

- 2 cups walnut halves

- ¾ cup sugar

- 2 tablespoons (5223) Madras Style Curry Powder

- 1 teaspoon (5002) Ground Cumin

- 2 teaspoon (5007) Garlic Powder

- 1 tablespoon (4052) Viking Oak Smoked Salt

- ½ teaspoon (5006) Cayenne Pepper

- 1 teaspoon (5125) Red Cardamom

- 1 teaspoon (5045) Vietnamese "Saigon" Cinnamon

If you taste the mix raw, the Cayenne Pepper will seem strong, but after cooking the intensity of the spice reduces to the perfect amount.

Curry Powder, Cumin, Cayenne Pepper, and Vietnamese "Saigon" Cinnamon are the stars of this party favorite
