5025 Pizza Italiano with Italian Spices
Ricotta and Parmasean cheese make this pizza special
Preheat the oven to 400°. Place the pizza dough on a baking sheet and pre-bake for 12 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine Olive Oil, crushed garlic, Ricotta cheese, and Italian Seasoning. Brush the mixture onto the dough. Dress the pizza with Arugula and tomatoes.
Return pizza to oven for an additional 9 minutes or until desired doneness. Once pizza is removed from the oven top with Parmesan cheese and some more Italian Seasoning.
- 1 ready made fresh pizza dough (pre-rolled out)
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons 5025 Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon 4011 French Fleur de Sel Salt
- 2 small red tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
Prebaking the pizza dough ensures a crispy crust as does placing the pizza directly on the oven rack. If you are worried about drips, place a baking pan on the rack under the pizza.
