4198 Herbes de Provence Roasted Beets and Sweet Potatoes

Preheat oven to 400°. Clean unpeeled beets and sweet potatoes and individually wrap each one in aluminum foil. Place in oven on a baking sheet and cook for 45 minutes.

Remove from oven, open foil and allow to cool. Cut the sweet potatoes into ½” slices and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Season with Olive Oil, Granulated Garlic, and Herbes de Provence Blend. Bake for 15 minutes.

When beets are cool enough to handle peel off the skin and cut into ½” slices. Season with Olive Oil, Garlic Powder, and Herbes de Provence & Fleur de Sel Blend.

Assemble dish by alternating sweet potatoes and sweet potatoes.

- 3 medium beets with greens removed

- 2 large sweet potatoes

- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

- 2 tablespoons (4198) Herbes de Provence & Fleur de Sel Seasoning

- 1 tablespoon (5007) Granulated Garlic


The sweet potatoes go through two cooking processes. First cooked in foil, and then baked after being sliced.

Give your dish the flavors of Herbes de Provence Blend (a mixture of summer herbs that are common to southern France) and Guatemalan Fleur de Sel Salt
